What inspired you to become a podcast producer, and how did you get started in the industry?

I am passionate about the art of podcasting and am always looking for ways to improve my skills and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the industry. I believe that a well-produced podcast can have a profound impact on its listeners and am honored to play a role in bringing great content to the ears of the world.

What advice do you have other podcasters, regarding content creation, marketing, and monetization?

Content Creation: Choose a niche or topic that you are passionate about and that you believe your audience will enjoy. Develop a clear and consistent format for your podcast that your listeners can rely on and look forward to. Focus on creating high-quality content that is informative, entertaining, and engaging. Incorporate storytelling and personal anecdotes to help connect with your listeners on a deeper level.

Marketing: Promote your podcast on social media and other relevant platforms to reach your target audience. Build relationships with other podcasters and influencers in your niche to cross-promote your content and increase your reach. Offer incentives for listeners to share and review your podcast, such as exclusive content or giveaways. Consider paid advertising or sponsorships to reach a wider audience.

Monetization: Explore different monetization options such as sponsorships, advertising, affiliate marketing, merchandise, or donations. Build a loyal following by consistently producing high-quality content and engaging with your listeners. Consider creating premium content or services for your most dedicated listeners. Be transparent and authentic with your audience about your monetization strategies. Ultimately, the key to starting a successful podcast is to be consistent, authentic, and passionate about your content. By creating high-quality content, building a loyal audience, and exploring different monetization strategies, you can turn your podcast into a successful and rewarding venture.

How has AI changed your workflow?

AI is helping to streamline the podcast production process, making it more efficient and accurate. Podium uses AI-powered transcription technology to make the process of transcribing easy. By automatically transcribing audio into text, I can save a significant amount of time and easily edit the content of the podcast. It helps identify the most important parts of the audio, such as keywords or themes which help me to quickly find the most relevant parts of the audio and create more compelling content for the podcast. And also it helped me with the most tedious process, which is creating the show notes for each episode.
